Light Knights is a leading Brisbane-based film and television production and video production company. The company was established in February 1999 and its credits include the award-winning 3D computer animated children's musical drama series "THE SHAPIES". "THE SHAPIES" was Australia's first 3D animated television series and was broadcast around the world in over 20 countries including on Australia's Nine Network, New Zealand's TVNZ and across the US on public television. Light Knights is developing a number of children's and adult productions. It's children's domain comprises a wide range of programmes - "X Streamers", "Dr Adam's Isle of Eve", "The 3Deez", "The Which Whats", "Shapies JNR", "Crikey The Cane Train", "Penny Drew", "The Pirates of Paradise" and "Roly and Blue". Light Knights is also currently involved in producing (and/or co-producing) several docu-dramas and reality television programmes for international release including, "Hot Zone", a UFO docu-drama series of 52 epsiodes and "Psychic Taskforce". "Psychic Taskforce" is a paranormal investigation series in the vane of "Sensing Murder", but with a unique format that will captivate and amaze international audiences who are interested in psychic / paranormal phenomenon. Light Knights expanded its production slate for 2009 includes the new lifestyle program Pilates Power. Light Knights is dedicated to producing and distributing high quality, market leading television and it invites producers to contact them to discuss any projects that they believe fits the Light Knights' charter with a view to co-productions, financing and or distribution.
